More often than not, we only hear one side of history and many stories go unheard. Today, we bring you the tale of Las Soldaderas, women who fought during the Mexican Revolution and whose contributions to victory often go uncredited. Because yesterday (3/16/22), was Saint Patrick's Day, MJ tells us about the Saint Patrick's Battalion, who fought for Mexico during the Mexican-American war. Take caution when listening, as there are some horrible things that happen during war (lots of death, rape and in this case, hangings). No listener story today, since we are not doing our usual spooky topics.
